Terror Lake Drive: Single Black Female Trailer
Cynthia Bailey, cast member of ALLBLK’s fan-favorite anthology series Terror Lake Drive: Single Black Female, for a virtual media interview to discuss the new season. The second season of the 7-episode scripted series premiered June 23 and airs weekly on Thursdays.
The new season of Terror Lake Drive: Single Black Female takes place two years after the chain of events that traumatized the tenants of the Freeman Lake Apartments in season one…bringing a new and unsuspecting tenant to the mystifying lakeside apartment complex.
Additional cast includes Pascale Armand (Eclipsed), Yolanda Ross (The Chi), Charles Malik Whitfield(Chicago Med), Keith Arthur Bolden (Black Lightning, Cobra Kai), Denise Boutte (Meet the Browns), Kendrick Cross (Ambitions) and Reginae Carter (Social Society, Pride & Prejudice ATL), in a supporting role.
Jerry LaMothe will direct and executive produce this season. Kajuana S. Marie and Jumaane Ford are executive producers, under the LaMothe’s J. LaMothe Entertainment banner. Chris Bongirne, Errol Sadler and Samad Davis serve as producers. General Manager, Brett Dismuke, and SVP of Development & Production, Nikki Love, also serve as executive producers for ALLBLK.
About Cynthia Bailey:
5’10 Alabama-born supermodel Cynthia Bailey moved to New York City at age 18 to pursue a career as a fashion model. With nothing more than a high school Homecoming Queen crown and a few local beauty pageants under her belt, she knew that she had arrived when Wilhelmina Models in New York City signed her to a 5-year contract. From there things really started to take off! Cynthia’s first booking was for the cover of ESSENCE Magazine which was one of the highest selling in ESSENCE history. It wasn’t long before Cynthia found herself gracing the cover of ESSENCE for the second time which literally flew off the newsstands!
Cynthia’s next move was to Paris and Milan, where she could be seen strutting down the runways at Paris and Milan Fashion Week. Magazine editorials for Vogue, Glamour, Elle, ESSENCE and Vanity Fair soon followed. Over the year, Cynthia had become a very recognized face for Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Lord & Taylor, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Talbots, Macy’s and Target.
One of Cynthia’s biggest career moments was being chosen to co-star opposite Sandra Bernhardt in the film “Without You I’m Nothing.” From there she was always on call for well-known Hollywood film directors being casted in movies and music videos early in her career. Cynthia has been casted for many television appearances which include NY Undercover, and host spots on BET. Cynthia’s commercials include Macy’s, Levis, Mercedes Benz and many more.
Cynthia considers her greatest accomplishment as a fashion model was being photographed by photographer Annie Leibovitz for Vanity Fair magazine alongside Iman, Beverly Johnson, Naomi Campbell, and Tyra Banks. Personally, her greatest accomplishment is her daughter Noelle Forde Robinson. Cynthia credits her strong will and strong spiritual background for her success. She believes in hard work, ambition, love, and positive affirmation. Everyone has a destiny. With faith in yourself and faith in God you can accomplish anything. When you send that energy out to the universe it has to come back to you.
Cynthia is a former cast member of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta, CEO of The Bailey Agency School of Fashion and founder of Be Better Foundation. Cynthia has several other businesses which include: The Bailey Wine Cellar, The Bailey Room Event Space, and CB Vior. Cynthia is currently in partnership with Seagram’s Escapes and is the co-creator of the delicious Seagram’s Peach Belini. October 10, 2020 Cynthia married TV host, actor & personality, Mike Hill.
