
Blackfilm.com has exclusively learned that Theresa Randle is set to reprise her role as Theresa Burnett in Bad Boys For Life, the third installment in the Bad Boys franchise. The film is currently in production
She joins Martin Lawrence (Marcus Burnett) , Will Smith (Mike Lowrey), Joe Pantoliano (Captain Conrad Howard) and Bianca Bethune (Meghan Burnett) as returning characters. Except for Bethune, everyone else has appeared in the previous two films (1996’s Bad Boys, 2003’s Bad Boys II). Randle plays the wife of Marcus.
Previously announced cast members also included Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Charles Melton, Jacob Scipio, Paola Nuñez, DJ Khaled, and Nicky Jam.

The screenplay was written by Joe Carnahan (Narc, The Grey), Peter Craig (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay 1 & 2, Transformers) and Chris Bremmer.
The new film will see the Miami police department assembling an elite team (Alexander Ludwig, Vanessa Hudgens and Charles Melton) called AMMO that has been tasked with taking down drug cartel leader Armando Armas (Jacob Scipio) – a cold-blooded killer with a vicious, taunting nature. Armas’ equally ruthless mother has tasked him with killing Mike Lowrey, though the reason for doing so isn’t clear as yet.

At the same time, the AMMO team is lead by a tough and funny criminal psychologist named Rite (Paola Nunez) who also happens to be Mike’s ex-girlfriend, the one who got away.
Jerry Bruckheimer returns as producer. Doug Belgrad will also produce, as will Will Smith. Barry Waldman, Mike Stenson, Chad Oman, and James Lassiter are executive producers.
It has a a theatrical release for January 17th 2020.
Best known for her roles in Malcolm X (1992), Sugar Hill (1994), Beverly Hills Cop III (1994), Bad Boys (1995), Girl 6 (1996), Space Jam (1996), Spawn (1997), and Bad Boys II (2003), Randle’s last big appearance was as a series regular in the Lifetime’s short-lived 2007 dramedy, State of Mind.
