Shameless actor, Idara Victor, has been named a series regular on the new female forward comedy, Minx. The half-hour comedy received a ten episode order from HBO Max. The series comes from Ellen Rapoport, Feigco Entertainment and Lionsgate Television. Idara Victor HBO Minx
Minx is set in 1970s Los Angeles, centering on an earnest young feminist who joins forces with a low-rent publisher to create the first erotic magazine for women. The show is lead by Elementary actress, Ophelia Lovibond, and New Girl actor Jake Johnson. Also cast as series regulars alongside Victor are; Jessica Lowe (Wrecked, Tacoma PD, Blended), Lennon Parham (Bless this Mess, Playing House, HBO’s Veep), Michael Angarano (Emmy-nominated for This Is Us, I’m Dying Up Here, The Knick) and Oscar Montoya (Reno 911, Bless the Harts, host of Spanish Aquí Presents podcast). Rachel Lee Goldenberg directed and executive produced the pilot.
Rappaport will serve as showrunner while also executive producing the series with Paul Feig and Dan Magnante for Feigco Entertainment.

Idara Victor is a Brooklyn, NY born Nigerian actress best known for her roles on the raunchy hit show Shameless. With a number of TV credits under her belt. most recently the actress has starred in OWN’s series Love Is… and the made for TV film First Christmas alongside Halle Berry.
