Earlier today, Blackfilm.com attended the preview of the new AKG by HARMAN N90Q headphones, inspired by music icon Quincy Jones.
The N90Q headphones are the world’s first headphone with TruNote technology, providing users with personalized sound for the most precise listening experience. The technology automatically and precisely reproduces sound optimized to the user’s anatomy.
Held at the HARMAN flagship store in New York (527 Madison Ave), Mr. Jones was introduced by Chairman and CEO of HARMAN, Dinesh Paliwa and the proceeded to discuss his inspiration, design process, and collaboration with HARMAN.
Having put them on and listening to some music, one thing is for certain. The noise cancellation is amazing! With an expected retail price in the neighborhood of $1500, these headphones are not for outside use. These would be great when traveling by plane or if you’re home alone and want to listen to music without any interruption.
The AKG N90Q headphones will be available in stores this September.
Following Mr. Jones’ speech, we were treated to a performance by his latest protégé Alfredo Rodríguez, a Grammy-nominated Cuban composer and Cuban Jazz Pianist.
