Will Packer Brings Two New Series – “Ready to Love” and “Put a Ring On It” to The OWN Network

The Oprah Winfrey Network is expanding their unscripted series with two shows spearheaded by power producer Will Packer. The network will be premiering both Ready to Love and Put a Ring On It on Friday, Oct. 23 to audiences across the nation. Packer’s Will Packer Media and Lighthearted Entertainment worked together to bring these unscripted series to OWN for fall.

Ready to Love is returning for its second season on the network. Season two comes with a twist, however, with the couples being quarantined together at a luxury mountain resort. The all new cast brings together some of  Houston’s most sexy and successful black singles who will be entering into real-life dating scenarios while at the resort in efforts to find love. In a twist, each week, men and women trade the power to cast off any member deemed not ready to love, ultimately ending up with only three couples. Thomas “Nephew Tommy” Miles will serve as the host of the show, airing Fridays at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Packer is also bringing the brand new series Put a Ring On It to OWN in October. In a social experiment, four long term couples will be testing the bounds of their love by dating outside of the relationship, ultimately deciding if they are ready for marriage or not. The couples will spend nine weeks working on their relationships, with the help of relationship coach Dr. Nicole LeBeach, while also dating other people to see if they will split or are ready to put a ring on it. The show airs Fridays at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Both shows can be viewed here.

“I’m super excited about anchoring OWN’s new night with two captivating shows,” says Will Packer, “this fresh and sexy content is what audiences are looking for.” of his show lineup. Will Packer is the star producer of box office hits; Think Like a Man, and Night School.
