Aretha Franklin Playlist

There has been great debate over Cynthia Erivo‘s portrayal of our Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin in National Geographic’s GENIUS: Aretha biopic series. And while I don’t like to take sides yet simply appreciate the art form, I understand that we all have our own version of Aretha that we love and hold dear. Aretha Franklin Playlist

However, there is no doubt in my mind that universally we all love both Cynthia and Aretha Franklin’s authentic voice.

In honor of the Queen and her Birthday, I created an Aretha Franklin playlist of just a few of my personal favorites that I hope you can enjoy.
