In a statement posted on Chadwick Boseman’s Twitter account Friday night, Boseman’s family disclosed that he was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2016 and had been quietly battling the disesase ever since. The statement adds, “A true fighter, Chadwick perseverd through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much.”
