Cory Hardrict has recently joined the cast of Coke Daniels’ suspense thriller Karen. Orange is the new Black star, Taryn Manning, is co-starring with Hardrict as well as producing the film alongside Daniels and Craig Chapman. Executive producing are Vanzil Burke and Victor Burke of Burke Management Firm.
Karen depicts the stereotypes of the angered white women that have been exposed on social media time and again after requesting to speak to management or terrorize black civilians for living their everyday life. In the movie, Karen White (Manning), is a southern white woman who believes that races should stick to their own kind, making it her personal mission to displace the new black family that has just moved into her neighborhood. Community activist, Malik (Hardrict) and his wife Assata, are the family who just moved to the Atlanta suburb who won’t be backing down that easy. The film is set for a 2021 release.
Cory Hardrict has starred in a number of films since he broke onto the scene in the early 90’s. He can be seen in the Clint Eastwood directed American Sniper, Tupac biopic All Eyez On Me, and the 2020 executive produced, The Outpost. The actor is also set to star in the upcoming film The Dougherty Gang.
