Eve Leaves CBS’ ‘The Talk’ After Four Seasons

Eve announced that she will be parting ways with CBS’ popular daytime show The Talk after co-hosting for four seasons. The rapper/actress has recently been hosting shows from her London home due to the country’s latest Covid-19 lockdown. It’s just a year after The Talk co-host Marie Osmond made her departure in September 2019.

In a teary eyed and heartfelt farewell, the host expressed her love for her fellow co-hosts saying jokingly, “I wish I hated one of you”, because it would make leaving much easier. “I have had the most beautiful experience, I’ve grown as a woman, as a person, I’ve said it once I’ll say it again – I never thought that being on a talk show would be this much of an opening of my spirit, soul, personality, everything. Sitting on stage with all you women has been the best thing ever. I truly love you”. Also mentioning she wanted to focus on expanding her family during this time.

Eve entered The Talk’s lineup as a replacement for Aisha Tyler in 2017. Her exit comes after three years and four seasons alongside Sheryl Underwood, Sharon Osbourne, and Carrie Ann Inaba.
