Letitia Wright and Michael K. Williams Set to Star in Bron Studios’ ‘Surrounded’

Letitia Wright and Michael K. Williams are set to star in Bron Studios’ Western-themed feature film, Surrounded. The movie will make for Anthony Mandler’s second feature film and is written by Andrew Pagana and Justin Thomas. The film makes for Mandler’s second feature length film, his first being Netflix’s Monster, based on the best-selling Walter Dean Meyers novel.

Five years after the civil war, Moses “Mo” Washington (Wright), a former Buffalo soldier sets out on a journey to claim a gold mine inherited from her late father – who was also a slave owner. Mo realizing that the world is a bit too dangerous for the single woman journey disguises herself as a man for smooth traveling. To her dismay, her journey is cut short when her stagecoach is entrapped forcing her to hold hostage a dangerous outlaw captive in order to survive.

Wright captured the eyes of the world in her role as Suri in the blockbuster Black Panther. She revisited the role in 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War and 2019’s Avengers: Endgame. She can be seen in the upcoming movie Death on the Nile, releasing December 18, 2020.

Michael K. Brown can be seen on HBO’s breakout hit, Lovecraft Country, as Montrose Freeman. His other prized roles include Omar Little in The Wire and Chalky White in Boardwalk Empire.
