Apple TV+ recently released the official trailer for Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special, the holiday special from the pop icon herself and her famous friends. The TV event is set to debut on Dec. 4 with Tiffany Haddish, Jennifer Hudson, Ariana Grande, Misty Copeland, Jermaine Dupri and Snoop Dogg joining the Queen of Christmas for holiday fun.
Haddish will narrate the special event by telling the story of Santa recruiting Carey to bring some Holiday cheer to the otherwise tough 2020 through music. The special will be sprinkled with performances from all her famous guests on immaculately designed stages, sharp choreographed routines, and cute skits.
Apple TV+ will not only bring the special to homes on Dec. 4, but will accompany the special with a companion soundtrack of Carey’s holiday songs with new renditions of old favorites. To add, the streamer will also release a music video for the soundtrack’s single “Oh, Santa!” from Carey, Hudson, and Grande. The music portion of the special can be streamed on Apple Music.
